Greg Holland (volunteer) was manning the Lindsey Ford TA (TA2/CP3/TA3/CP4) when he was bitten by a "wild" dog. Still not quite sure whether it was a wild dog, or just one running around off leash. Also not quite sure what he did to instigate it. He's on his way now for whatever shots are required after a wild dog bite, so maybe we'll give him a call to find out the details after we make sure he's all vaccined up.
Update: I finally managed to get the whole story. Greg went to his car to get something out only to discover a pretty crazy upset dog in his car (guess he left the door open). The dog looked to be in pretty bad shape but had a leash around it's neck. The leash was caught in Greg's brakes, so in his efforts to free the dog, Greg was bitten. He managed to get the dog out of his car and tied it to a tree with a rope in order to hang on to it to determine if he's going to need rabies vaccinations. At some point, a woman came along and decided to free this poor, helpless dog who was obvious in need of some care. We believe this woman to be a spectator, possibly from FL, so if anyone is keeping track of this blog and knows who this is, please contact race management so we can track down this dog to verify whether it has rabies so we can save Greg the pain of going through numerous vaccines.

Team Intel Outside saw the dog coming and going from LF5. The first time, he did not have a leash and the second time he did. We assumed from the location that the dog's home was at the house at the base of the hill leading up to the entrance to LF5.
