Final Updates Rolling In!!!

Last update we sent out, Lab Rats, Shake A Leg Miami, and Nature Cure were headed to the finish neck to neck. At roughly 4:45 am, Shake A Leg Miami crossed the finish line. Following about 10 minutes behind them were team Nature Cure with Lab Rats finishing at around 10 after 5am. Nature Cure missed at least one CP along the way, which will give them a 4 hour penalty. After finishing, it was determined that Shake A Leg accidentally took a forbidden route which will cause them to assess a penalty as well (yet to be determined).
That makes our (unofficial) winners Team Lab Rats!!!

Other teams have been trickling into the final TA before the finish thinking they're at the finish, only to find out they have to climb those stairs. A few teams have called it quits at that point, choosing to finish the race without climbing the stairs, but most of them are sucking it up (grumbling), and climbed their way to the finish. Quoting Julia Radmann of ROAM/INOV-8 here: "when you say stairs, you mean..."

We're working on updating the Leaderboard, so please be patient til we can get the rest of the times in. Keep in mind that the Leaderboard results are all unofficial until Race Management announces the final results.

All teams which are still in the rankings have checked into Wildcat (CP21). Those who missed the cutoff are on their way back, while those who made it right before the cutoff are finishing up the course. Stay tuned for more updates!!!
