New Updates as of 11:20pm
- I just received word that all the racers are now off the water, which is perfect timing, because the rain is just beginning to fall. Our safety crew which was out sweeping the course is still on the water though, so hopefully we won't have to send a safety crew out after the safety crew.
- No Man's Land made the tough decision to withdraw from the race after spending some time at TA8/CP18. Both team members are okay, but one of them was having trouble taking in liquids, so they felt it was the safest choice.
- Pinhoti Express has withdrawn as well between TA7/CP13 and TA8/CP18. There was a dehydrated team member who is no being monitored and taking in liquids. He gladly accepted an IV from our onsite EMT to further rehydrate and is currently on his way to recovery.
- At TA8/CP18 Team Lab Rats overtook Shake A Leg Miami to reclaim their lead position (time - 7:45 pm). At 10:45 pm Lab Rats checked out of TA9/CP21 with Shake A Leg right on their tails at 10:50.
